Who you are dealing with

EVER-GUARD is run by K Smith, a security engineer with sixteen years working across access control, CCTV, door entry and intruder alarms. There is no call centre and no sales team — the person who surveys your property is the person who installs the system and the person who comes back if it plays up.

That is the whole proposition, and it is why the work is mostly repeat customers and referrals rather than advertising.

How we work

We survey before we quote. Security design changes with the building — the layout, the cabling, where the sun sits, how people actually move through the place. Pricing a system down the phone means guessing at all of it.

We fix before we replace. A good part of the work is taking over systems other installers walked away from. If a panel or a door entry handset can be repaired, that is what we will recommend.

We aim to finish on the first visit. The van carries what usually fails.

The cloud portals, and why they matter

Holding the Texecom and Pyronix cloud portals means a fault on those systems can often be looked at remotely before anyone gets in a van — and sometimes resolved on the phone rather than becoming a visit at all. Very few small installers in this area offer that.
